Psiber Data announced today that its WireXpert cable certification tester has been endorsed by Siemon for certification of TERA Class F and Class FA cabling systems.  

WireXpert WX4500-FA has been available in EMEA and Asia Pacific markets since early 2011 and has been well received by customers.  Its unique Dual Control System (DCS) brings full-featured touch screen user interface to both local and remote units.  The tester significantly enhances productivity of technicians with easily accessible touch-based menu options and faster testing speed.  WireXpert features 1600MHz of measurement bandwidth, which makes it the first cable tester to have measurement capability over 1000MHz.  "This is the first field tester approved by Siemon to test the entire Class FA frequency range out to 1000MHz.   Although the formal approval is for Class FA systems to 1000MHz, our rigorous comparisons with laboratory Network Analyzer measurements found WireXpert results to have excellent correlation well above 1000MHz.
