Optical power meter and light source
WireXpert now offers optical power meter and light source as software tools. This basically converts your WireXpert remote unit into independent light source, and the local unit into an independent optical power meter. Used together, you get a

powerful certification capability. This is very useful particularly when testing single fiber link such as FTTX. The power meter on the local unit allows setting reference, measuring loss, comparing with limit, saving test results with automated labeling options, and viewing saved test results. More importantly, you can export single fiber certification test results to PC software ReportXpert. There you can view the results and create professional pdf test reports.

Enhanced Diagnostics
On copper side, diagnostic abilities have been enhanced with remote unit now showing full graphical view of wiremap faults. NEXT and Return Loss Locator tools have been brought to Autotest summary page for easy access to these powerful fault location tools.

Network Compliance
Network compliance is added to test reports for both fiber and copper. With this feature, customers who are using WireXpert for maintaining enterprise cabling infrastructure can quickly validate cables for suitability to intended networking application.

Industrial Ethernet
For customers who use WireXpert to test industrial Ethernet systems with M12 adapters, Profinet test limits are now built-in to the software. A number of Industrial Ethernet adapters are available for use with WireXpert. Contact Psiber Data for more information.

Updated Cable Database
Software 4.7 also enhances cable and connector database of WireXpert. Following vendors' cabling products have either been added or updated:

- HCS
